A single ElectricianHires post is paid once, does not renew, and is public the moment checkout clears.
Apprentices and journeymen can be reading it within minutes, so the window for a no-reason refund is a short one.
A billing mistake on our end is corrected no matter when you catch it.
Billing mistakes: always refunded in full
- The same post was charged to you more than once.
- Payment went through but, because of a fault on our side, the post never appeared.
- A charge you never authorized, once we have verified it.
Change of mind in the first 48 hours
Let us know within 48 hours of paying and we will pull the post and return the full amount.
No reason is needed.
After the 48-hour mark
By then the post has been in front of electricians for two days, which is what the fee pays for, so it can no longer be refunded.
Filling the spot early doesn't change that.
If your new journeyman signs on in the first week, we will take the post down on request, but the unused part of the 30 days is not refunded.
If something unusual happened, write to us anyway and we will look at your situation on its own merits.
Not refundable
- A post we took down for breaking our Terms & Conditions, for example a misleading wage, discriminatory wording, a fake company or an unlawful job.
- Fewer applicants than you hoped for, or applicants without the license class you need. We publish and promote the post, but no job board can promise how many electricians apply or that one of them takes the job.
Requesting your refund
Write to [email protected] from the email used at checkout, and include the job title plus the Stripe receipt number.
Approved refunds go back to the card you paid with.
Stripe usually shows them within 5–10 business days, though your bank sets the exact timing.
